I am a gay man in southeast Georgia. I am beinning to feel that love will never exist for me. My ideal relationship would be exactly like that of a "straight-relationship," yet I am gay. Is it entirely possible for a gay man to come home...have a family with his partner and do all the things a "regular" couple would do (i.e., be romantic; grocery shop together; cuddle and watch movies, just everyday life)?
I suppose I am a hopeless romantic. I am finding that life as a "20-something" gay man in the south is not peaches and creme obviously! This may not be the right forum for this but I am just wondering if anyone else out there feels the same way I do?
Any thoughts on the matter will be appreciated!

Make a list of what qualities to look for in a "soul-mate", good and bad. Then think of ways to meet such a person. Go to the theater, clubs, social gatherings, where ever you think such a person exists and start your search.
If you have personality traits that might not be "wonderful" work on improving yourself to make yourself more lovable. Be willing to give of yourself and not just expect your mate to do all the "giving". A good relationship isn't 50/50, it is 100/100 with each partner giving 100% of themselves.
This is not just a straight/gay issue, but a matter of lonely people who want to find someone who they can share their life with.
Good Luck in your quest, so many people fall in lust, but never truly find love.

Yes but im not gay. Trust me sexuality is not really the issue tons of singles feel this way which is why we typically end up settling! It's hard to one find someone real and someone real who you also connect with and they connect with you. So dont covet other people just cuz u might see them holding hands or sharing ice cream ive learned in life a lot of so called happy couples are just faking it, but if ur fortunate to come across the real thing, cherish every moment, gay/straight.

Sure you will find someone. No matter where your are, studies have shown 10% of men are gay. So every tenth man you see in the store is gay. Go out on a limb and search the papers, internet etc and go on a date, you may find your soulmate. Good luck!

Dont get to bum about this. The way i see it it doesn't matter if you are gay or straight there is a soul makte for everyone. regarldless what they're belief may be. But i think you shoud do more than just wonder will i ever... Start going to bars, clubs groups or one of theose online sites.. But dont worry you will find someone one day it takes time...I promise...

you're gay? JUST JOKING, but seriously, you might want to go someplace where homosexuality is a little more excepted, because in the south, it isn't really. Try going a little farther north and see what you come up with. and if all else fails, you can always go on one of those "hook up" sites, nowadays most of them do gay hookups too! just be who you are. To me, there is always a soul mate for everyone. So of course that is including you. Step up your game. Go to places and guys are intrested in dating?..Clubs?Bars? anywhere where you can be confident in yourself in finding that true love for yourself.Believe in yourself that you can find him...it may take a long time but there will always be Mr.Right for you someday.

well evert thing happens for a reason, but meybe in ur case u should really think over the fact of "gay" and wat it means u might be stuck in a fase
