Zeus is back in the ring.

http://edition.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/europe/01/21/ancient.gods.ap/index.html

Personally I think Zeus has a much better chance of winning this time round. The history of the christian church including Islam and mormons has shown that these religions while having alot of 'show', offer absolutly nothing to humanity. Christianity for years has secretly admitted that Zues had much better influence on his people, and have been stealing ideas for centuries of him.
So when it come down to Zues and Yahweh? Who do you think will triumph.

I think Yahweh has more of a history of being a blood thirsty savage. But I am still undecided if this will play any important part in the outcome of such a match.

Today T
Nice try buddy, but I will never stop fighting theism. I attack the beliefs and I have no problem doing so. I was christian for 20 years and have every right on earth to laugh and mock such beliefs, what you have seen here on Y!A is nothing compared to what I could say and feel. I constrain myself well.
If people dont like their beliefs being challenged then keep them to yourselves. Think christians do keep it to themselves , then think again.
I will mock such things as I see fit. Its my mind not yours. Yahoo answers can delete such questions of mine, but it doesnt stop me doing it in my life. I am constantly telling the youth around the truth about their religions. Just yesterday actually, I told some young mormon that the mormons think God lives on the planet Kolob. they were in disbelief they think such things.
lol
I am not afraid of truth.

I wouldn't know, but If I mush pick between them, I think Yahweh would win. Think of all the things that He can do. It doesn't have to be a direct one on one confrontation. It can come from all around, etc. from where Zeus can't fight, and become disable to do anything.

Judaism, Christianity and Islam have a lot to offer. If you want to look for them, you will see them. What is it are You looking for, and that my friend which you will find. Find the good in people, and you will find it. It doesn't matter what their faith, have faith in them and they will not fail you.

A side note,

NO disrespect to you. You are a convert from Christianity, and you seem to harbor a lot of animosity towards them, from your so many questions that seems to battle the Christians and their beliefs. Zeus is the author of distinctive races and Yahweh is making an attempt to have a mix of races so he can defeat Zeus while Yahweh achieves his purpose then Zeus will sparkling the earth of blended race people and replant distinctive races the author as against the destroyer

Zeus has an Army of Gods. Yahweh only has a couple of Angels and most of them turned against him anyway. But it seems like Zeus came to bring back Spiritual diversity in Greek society.

Very cool...

Who is the True God, determine that and the answer is evident?

--This is no popularity contest as to gods, as your making it?

--Did Yahweh or Jehovah not embarrass everyone of the Egyptians dieties, when he freed Israel? Were you aware of that? Or do you not believe the account?

--Would you believe that as in the movie "The Mummy" that it was the mummy that brough about the 10 plagues in modern times or would you believe the Bilbical account, your choice.

Here is how Yaweh belittled the god's of Egypt:
*** sh chap. 3 p. 62 Common Threads in Mythology ***

Jehovah executed judgment on Egypt’s impotent gods by means of the Ten Plagues.—Exodus 7:14–12:32.

Plague Description

1 Nile and other waters turned to blood. Nile-god Hapi disgraced

2 Frogs. Frog-goddess Heqt powerless to prevent it

3 Dust turned to gnats. Thoth, lord of magic, could not help the Egyptian magicians

4 Gadflies on all Egypt except Goshen where Israel dwelt. No god was able to prevent it—not even Ptah, creator of the universe, or Thoth, lord of magic

5 Pestilence on livestock. Neither sacred cow-goddess Hathor nor Apis the bull could prevent this plague

6 Boils. Healer deities Thoth, Isis, and Ptah unable to help

7 Thunder and hail. Exposed the impotence of Reshpu, controller of lightning, and Thoth, god of rain and thunder

8 Locusts. This was a blow to the fertility-god Min, protector of crops

9 Three days of darkness. Ra, the preeminent sun-god, and Horus, a solar god, disgraced

10 Death of the firstborn including Pharaoh’s, who was considered to be a god incarnate. Ra (Amon-Ra), sun-god and sometimes represented as a ram, was unable to impede it"

If you like the made up god's of humans here are some and their attributes:
*** sh chap. 3 p. 42 pars. 4-5 Common Threads in Mythology ***

. The first Greek to put myths in writing in a systematic way was Hesiod, who wrote his Theogony in the eighth century B.C.E. He explains how the gods and the world began. He starts off with Gaea, or Gaia (Earth), who gives birth to Uranus (Heaven). What follows is explained by scholar Jasper Griffin in The Oxford History of the Classical World:

5 “Hesiod tells the story, known to Homer, of the succession of sky gods. First Uranus was supreme, but he suppressed his children, and Gaia encouraged his son Cronos to castrate him. Cronos in turn devoured his own children, until his wife Rhea gave him a stone to eat in place of Zeus; the child Zeus was brought up in Crete, compelled his father to disgorge his siblings, and with them and other aid defeated Cronos and his Titans and cast them down into Tartarus.”

God's challenge to all man-made god's is as follows:

(Psalm 96:4-7) “. . .For Jehovah is great and very much to be praised. He is fear-inspiring above all [other] gods.  5 For all the gods of the peoples are valueless gods; But as for Jehovah, he has made the very heavens.  6 Dignity and splendor are before him; Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.  7 Ascribe to Jehovah, O YOU families of the peoples, Ascribe to Jehovah glory and strength.”

Jehovah or Yahweh is the only historical God with a powerful track record, that you can ignore and show contempt by comparing in any way with the filth of the pagan gods, you indeed do not know Who or what you are belittling.

Come on, why not have a battle between Thor and Jesus, you know Thor would win. After all, Thor carries a hammer and Jesus was nailed to a cross.

I don't understand why people are choosing MYTHology over Christianity.

My vote is Yahweh.

How can you know Zeus is more powerful than God or not?
