Christians espouse the idea that anyone who doesn't believe the way they do will go to hell. However, by their own teaching from the Old Testament of the Bible, people shouldn't put up with or believe false prophets. The question is, how does one identify false prophets? Isn't it possible that they are inside the church and leading would-be Christians astray?

A lot of advice but no one answers the question about the possibility of false prophets inside the Christian church leading followers astray.

Yes, I believe after reading your statement that it is so. What has happened is the church has been disrupted, files have gone missing, documents have been opened that should never have been, this has caused a worldwide stir in our universe, that have lead many astray. All innocently done, but there is GOD who works miracles through many people. He assures us that he will bring peace once again by us being sorry for what we have done and turning our journey to a positive existence, which has to led to positive results.

I believe you cannot identify false prophets as I did say the church has unknowingly and knowingly but more unknowingly disrupted certain ideas. As I said it is in GODs hands which will be fixed up by his chosen men and women it has commenced several years ago.

Once one learns about Chruch doctrine and theology, it really isn't hard to figure out who the false teachers are. I'm not gonna name any names, but there are quite a few out there who really are leading people astray in mass. Now, the ideas of Heaven and Hell are in the Bible, and are part of church doctrine as well, and so long as a person's preaching on them is biblical, they are okay.

There is truely a heaven or hell, but even if there isn't what would it hurt if you believe, wouldn't you believe in something that cant hurt you and in the long run you are safe in the kingdom, than not believe and be eternally damn? when looking at it, nothing would wrong if there isn't a God and you serve him anyway, but there would be a great problem if there is truely a God and did not serve him and at the end of the day you losed out on eternal life? think about it.

pig wonder, why the disrespect? you believe in soloman don't you, what would be the world view nowadays of his many wives? not favorable. So please do not try to equate today, with then.

Matthew 7:15-20 helps in identifying false prophets:
Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits YOU will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they?  Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit; 18 a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. Every tree not producing fine fruit gets cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men].

Easy: false prophets marry 6 year old girls and have sex with them when they are 9. False prophets call themself a prophet, and threaten people who don't believe them with God's wrath. False prophets condone murder, extortion, pillaging, ambush, and plagiarize material from other religions. They claim an angel told them what they know. They also tend to claim that everyone else changed the Bible, and that they were sent by God to correct everything.

One thing you need to always remember when it comes to religion, is that there are many versions of it and allot of it has been interpreted in some peoples beliefs and there is know real prof of religion only beliefs. So if you believe in the son of god and the virgin Marie then read your holy bible, talk to god and believe what you want don't let people tell you what to think because they don't know what they say is true they just believe it is true.

Read this little work and then ask an honest question concerning prophecy. For it is not the prophet that is important, but of whom he prophesies. The scripture testifies of Christ, and the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Is it not better to learn those words of eternal life rather than words which are but words?
