Wel no one claims to know for sure where the universe came from, even religious people can't know for sure that God exists, and even then, where did he come from? The point is that we should use observation, our logic and our reason to try realy hard to work out where the universe came from. We should really think about it rather than just throwing our hands up and saying, 'dunno, God must have done it." That's just plain lazy. If you want to know scientific theories, that have taken the combined effort of thousands of dedicated scientist and hundreds of years, then look them up, read them. They are a lot more fascinating than God, and give real insight into the origins of the universe. A lot of it comes down to mathematics and probability. Once you really investigate, and use your brain to its highest capacity, you'll see that a universe without a God is not such a strange concept after all.
