I have a pain in my throat on the right side, and only on the right side. Not sure if it's my tonsil or not, but it gives me discomfort to swallow, move my tongue around, and open my mouth wide. I tried taking a decongestant to see if it was just a cold problem, but it didn't help. Suggestions?

if the pain is only on one side it could be a lymph node swelling.......you might be trying to come down with something and your body is trying to fight it.........you should go see a doc or nurse practioner.

put some salt in a glass (4 oz) of warm water. gargle it for about 10 minutes. It helps. Or buy throat spray.
