first, go back to grammar school and finish your education
second, reread your question and see if you can see why I said such a nasty comment
third, if what you meant was, "When I file my taxes and the IRS owes me money, how long will it take them to send it to me after I file?", then the answer is 8-15 days if you file eletronically and the money is deposited directly into your bank account or 3-4 weeks if you file electronically and the IRS sends you a check, or as much as 7 weeks if you do a paper return
forth, if what you meant was, "When I file my taxes and I owe the IRS money, how long does the IRS give me to pay?", then the answer is you must send the check by April 16th, 2007.

If you owe the IRS money, they are not going to send you a check, you are going to send them a check. If you are owed a refund, you will receive your check or deposit in about six weeks after you mail your completed tax form.

If you owe money you will not get the money back. They will take whatever you owe and deduct it from your check.

If you have a refund coming and have it direct deposited to your account, it should take two weeks or sometimes a little less.
