You mean GIBBERISH? Yep. Anybody can make up words. There's nothing miraculous about that.

Yes.
I did when I was a Christian, and I still can, now I'm an atheist. (I hadn't for years till this question came up! )
I took a few hours to see if there was neurological research confirming supporting this, and indeed there is.

BBC Radio 4 had a piece in glossolalia this evening, which suggested that, as evidenced by MRI scans, it occured with reduced activity in the normal speech centres. It's not done by "faking it".

Brain activity associated with other religious experiences has also been looked at to the point where, in many individuals, such sensations can be provoked.

In Order to be able to Speak in Tongues, you have to have the Holy Spirit, and its a great Gift From God! Athiest do not have the Holy spirit, no they can not speak in Tongues.

This is a good question....but I don't believe so....Speaking in tongues come from the Spirit....if you have not accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior...then you will not be filled with the Spirit...and speaking in tongues is the Spirit praying for you....because sometimes we ourself know not what we need....but the Spirit does.

Anyone with a working mouth can speak in tounges. Just make random noises with your mouth without actually saying anything. Like, try to speak another language that doesn't exist or something.

Atheists can be affected by the medical conditions causing glossolalia, but we understand the medical causes and do not need to invent supernatural ones.
