This has to do with the EIC, i saw a lot of people asking questions about it.

Since you worked 6 weeks and have a child, you should be eligible for an earned income credit. The amount depends on how much you made, so unless you made a lot in those 6 weeks, it will probably be small. But anything is better than nothing, right?

It depends on how much you made in those 6 weeks that you worked on .. It is quite possible you have some EIC .. Why not use the Free TaxAct and check it out - it is free!

Yes, one year I only worked for 2 weeks, and I got a refund, so I dont see why you wouldnt? Call a tax company and ask them, but I am sure you will!

Yes, you should. First you can claim three exemptions on just one salary. Then you can apply for the earned income credit--since you are the only one who worked.

yes i am thinking you prob will however keep in mind that if you do get money back (which it sounds like you might and it wont be much) it could affect what you get next year as well
