What exactly does this harmful bacteria do to harm us? Can any one please help me? Could you also please list your source (website) if any. Thanks in advance for your help!

There are specific virulence factors that specific species of bacteria posses that make them pathogenic towards humans. There are waaaay to many to list on this website, but some examples are that some bacteria like Streptococcus pneumoniae possess a polysaccharide capsule that resists phagocytosis from white blood cells. Some like E. coli O157:H7 release toxins that can act on our nervous system, digestive system, etc. Many bacteria can create biofilms which are incredibly hard to get rid of and can wreak havoc on our bodies depending on where the film was formed. And the list goes on and on. Sometimes bacteria cause disease not because they're particularly invasive to humans, but because the human host has a compromised immune system. An example of this is someone with AIDS.

Pathogenic is a broad term. It consists of all bacteria that is harmful. So all those that cause diseases are called pathogenic and they harm people in their own way. SOme of these bacteria are: Staphylococcus aureus, Clostridium botulinum, Salmonella typhi, Pseudomas aureginosa, Treponema pallidum, Myobacteruim tuberculosis and leprae. Try to search at google
