Beyond looks--which every guy is going to notice first, yet have different specific preferences, what appeals to me about a gal is an open, self-confident demeanor, like she has nothing to hide, and is O.K. with herself. Someone who can be self-effacing, yet is honest, with a good sense of humor and has a genuine concern for those around her, and not materialistic, or self-centered...always looking at the world around her NOT just in terms of how situations, events and news items affect her personally, but can see the bigger picture, of what is best for the greatest number, for the world in general...even if it means a bit of personal sacrifice.
To me, this is a mature lady, ready for a real relationship.
