Possibly an extremely large barrel curling irons or rollers for a roller set, so the curl isn't very tight and falls lightly spiraled. You probably also take large sections of hair per roller or ironing

i suggest you try a soft perm, i think there are many perms out there; but you should find one that doesn't dry out your hair so it looks like the picture, you should go to this really good korean hair salon in wheelock place, (bring along the picture) they do really great perms, i also suggest that after you perm it, you get curling cream, to help the curls stay in tact,especially after sleeping on them the whole night. hope this helps ;)
