Who said either you or he have to go and stay for any specified time in Sweden or the US? You need no visa to come to the United States if you're a Swedish citizen, and you can stay for 3 months .... if you get married here within that 3 month period, and get your paperwork in, he can stay here until he gets his green card. What he can't do is work while he's waiting, or as far as I know go to school, and both of you have to prove you have enough funds to keep him here without him becoming a burden on society ...

All this is perfectly legal, as anyone in the immigration services could tell you .... no need to go anywhere, no need to hire a lawyer ... immigration into the US is not particularly difficult if you have a clean background, can prove financial eligibility, can pay for and get a clean medical .... good luck!!

The best thing to do, is that person in another country=Sweden come here to the States and get marry...And and will take about a month to get the license marriage and then apply for his resident...And nobody have to go to stay in another country thats all...You have to proof that is legitimate marriage. And Good luck!!! If that person in another country can't get visa to come here to get marry then You have to go there to get marry and get back here and fill out an a petition for your spouse there in sweden it will take about 6 months for that person to entyrance the US legally and that is another recomendation that I wil give you too...Bye

All you have to do is apply for a fiance visa on his behalf.

It will take about 2 years to get him here and a lot of paperwork and fees.
