What hairspray is really strong so the curls won't come out. For some reason everytime I try to curl my hair they always come out after a couple hours.

YOU WANT CELEB QUALITY CURLS?
From a hairstylist: I have done ALL kinds of hair. All textures, lengths and styles---> your best bet would be to use steam rollers, which you can get at any store like wal-Mart or Target or something. first off give yourself some time. ALL great hair requires it. OK.>>>Roll clean dry hair with the and let the rollers set for at least a 30 min. longer will be better. so you could do that like in the morning and while you're doing all the rest of your morning regimen just let them set. Make sure the rollers are are not too big. The bigger the roller the looser the curls. The smaller the roller the tighter the curl. So a nice medium size would be good if you have fairly long hair. Remember if your hair is really thick you will need more rollers. Don't try to put too much hair in one roller your curls will be uneven. And then after they have set, take out the rollers and use a holding spray. Light hold is not strong enough for heavy hair, but freeze hold may make those curls hard to comb or style later on, so get a nice medium/maximum hold spray and spray it on all of your hair immediately after removing your rollers. Don't spray enough to make your curls wet or hard by spraying to close too your hair, but get holding spray on as much of your hair as you can while holding the can/bottle just a fews inches away from your hair. You still want your curls to be bouncy and move. Remember you can always use more spray later. Style your hair lightly and you are good to go. You may even want to use a product for shine to make make it look more polished. If you have a bottle small enough to carry with you, then just check your curls throughout the day to make sure they are holding, add a little more spray if you need.It is natural for them to fall some. this is good if your curls are too tight. In any case if you take a little more time on your hair, it will show and totally be worth it. It is the same process for the stars you see on tv everyday. HAVE FUN!! Star Quality isn't as hard to achieve as you think:)

I actually use a flat iron to curl my hair. It makes a fabulous curl and it last all day and I even sleep on mine and it still looks good the next day. The best way I could describe how to do it it like when you pull ribbon on a pair of scissors to make it curl. It's like that. It's better because the flat iron gets a lot hotter then a curling iron which almost "bakes" the curl into the hair. It is not more damaging then using a curling iron because it's a continuous motion and not just sitting on the hair like a curling iron. If you can figure out how to do it I promise you'll love it.

i would suggest some strong concentrated setting lotion or moose. Make sure you follow the directions on how much water is needed to dilute the setting lotion with, also with this technique you are going to need a few packs of those foam long rods that cost a pretty penny but you only need to purchase them once so it will be worth it. your hair will need to be wet and diluted with the setting lotion/ moose and rolled with the long rods then you sit under the dryer until hair is completely dry. Your curls will be very curly and crisp but i dont think that you will be able to do it yourself. Also within days your curls should begin to drop slightly and they should last you until you shampoo your hair. When you buy your rollers you should determine how big you want your curl to turn out by the variety of sizes that is avaliable at the hair store. I always go to sally's beauty supply store, they have the best selection and better deals. Depending on your hair type will determine how strong of product is needed becuz you may can get away with moose. With my hair I need lotta body setting lotion with it being so coarse sooo.... good luck!!!

Put mousse in your hair first, curl it, and when you are finished, spray a little hairspray in your hair. If that doesn't work for your hair, then go get a perm or buy specialized products from a hairdresser. Use a perm for a last resort though; not everyone can pull that look off.

Good Luck.

I have long naturaly curly hair,so if your hare has no texture at all then use texture spray before following my advice, and i usually put my striaghting iron on a low heat setting then get it so I have loose waves then i put mousse /gel mixture in to my hair. Let it dry so that it is a bit of a dry /producty feel then separate your hair into sections, curl it, and spray !!!!!!!!!! tada

Hair spray and spritz or holding spray works the best for your problem. Use the hair spray and spritz at the same time while curling.

well one thing the hair is long and heavy and that pulls the curl out. so roll it real tight, and get a good setting gel,and freeze spray.
