He can't help himself. Try to be patient, your the older one. Get him on your side with a special snack or a new toy now and then. He'll worship you for the effort and won't want to bugg you so much.

I SOOOO know where you're coming from....same problem with me but with FOUR ANNOYING brothers- no sisters....hate them...just vented in my question i put up like 10 minutes ago...they go through my stuff, slow down my computer by using it all the time- god know whts they do, take my stuff etc etc---i could go on all day....i just ignore them...too bad they're not younger like yours is...i think 5 year old would be easier to handle but my bros are 18, 15, 12, and 11. annoying as hell....but since your brother is just 5, you might want to try to talk to him about being annoying...just hang out with him a little....i don't know how old u are...but take him to the movies or somewhat if u have the extra pocket money....or just watch tv with him...play with him....build something with leggos or something or whtever is in these days in baby world...lol....good luck!! i really hope u get along with him now when hes young cuz when hes older, it will get worse....i really feel u...best of luck!!

:)

P.S. take him to mcdonalds or something...just don't get on his bad side- it will make it worse.

My older daughter always complains about my younger son (they're 3 years apart). I would tell her to calm down, it could be worse. Then, one time she slept over her friend's house while my husband was away on a business trip. Ohmigod! She was so right. He's sweet but needs a lot of attention. He would keep talking to me while I was on the phone, in the bathroom, watching the ending of my favorite TV show, trying to fall asleep. With my new appreciation of what my daughter faced, I changed how I handled my son. They fight much less now and get along better. They even gang up on my husband and I now! LOL. Anyway, try to talk to your Mom or Dad about it while you are calm (not while you are upset). Suggest that they spend time alone with him to see what you deal with.

He just wants to spend time with you, just be nice and in a few minuets he will find something else to do. Kids at this age have a short attention span :-]

tell your mom if he's being an immature bratt. That comes with being a kid so just be patient and be the big sibling you have to be.

Be nice to him.
Because like you said, HE'S FIVE.
Play a game with him once and a while.
Teach him how to be smooth.
Whatever, just don't be an *** to him.
He probably looks up to you.
