Why is it that the universe, our galaxy, our Solar System and the Earth-Moon double planet system demonstrate some remarkable evidence of intelligent design. Taken separately, each characteristic is highly improbable by random chance. When taken together, the probability is so small as to be impossible - by random chance. The alternative explanation, design by an intelligent Creator is a more realistic explanation. Either way, one must admit that we are a product of a miracle - either a miracle of chance or a miracle of design. Don't get me started on our galaxy - co-rotation radius.

And what about the moon, the moon has had other beneficial affects on the earth. Scientists now know that the earth originally had a rotational period of eight hours. Such a rapid rotational period would have resulted in surface wind velocities in excess of 500 miles per hour. The gravitational tug of the moon over the last 4+ billion years has reduced the rotation period of the earth to 24 hours (likewise, the gravitational attraction of the earth on the moon has reduced its rotational period to 29 days). Winds of 500 miles per hour would not be conducive to the existence of higher life forms.

no one with a brain could never answer this without guessing in anyway that i would find satisfying the way i see it the universe could be a dead place but that would be pointless that itself is a sign of a creator to me anyway, but decidedly not enough to match anything in the bible but on the other hand life also could have been a random happening considering the sheer number of planets and galaxies out there if one "whoops" happened (that would be us by the way) how many times would have to roll the cosmic dice to get the same number that made us in the first place, after that you have to define "life" look at it like this maybe the earth just has a bad case of fleas (that would be us by the way) and the planets themselves are the main lifeforms of the universe, they do age and die and we organics could be the universes answer to pests, in the end i have to digress to the fact that i don't live long enough to form an answer that would be anything more then a guess that would just fit to my personality

None of those things demonstrate evidence of intelligent design.
All are explainable without a "designer" (although we don't yet have all of the explanations worked out, yet).
None were impossible: here we are.
We developed on this planet because it was suitable for live to develop. We descended from those who successfully reproduced; that's why we're all a fairly good match for each other.
If you were genuinely interested in understanding what we have to say (which, I gather from all your childish Additional remarks, you aren't), you MIGHT be able to become better informed as to what we non-believers think.
There's a lot of relevant material on the net, there are also books written for lay folk, that explain it all intelligibly.
You start from assuming intelligent design, then see intelligent design.
If you were to start with desiring to understand non-supernatural explanations for things, you would find you don't need a designer to understand things.
Saying "'cause god did it" isn't science, and doesn't explain anything at all.
Just as "things fall due to gravity" isn't an EXPLANATION of what's going on, it's just a word applied to the phenomenon.

Are you serious? There are 10^21 stars in the universe, at least. More stars than there are grains of sand on our planet. If you played the lottery 10^21 times, do you think you might win a few times?
EDIT
Actually, Varsity's comment is appropriate. For instance, the odds of shuffling a deck of 52 cards in a specific order is 1 in 8.1e67. And yet every time you shuffle you get one such combination. It's nothing amazing, it's just that it worked out that way.

is mankind the measure for everything?
We dont believe that the whole universe is not created by random because WE think it was designed by someone.
Do you think that people can try to make sense of something that is so much bigger than us??? (talking about universe or god or whatever you want) It escapes our ability to explain...Can we imagine infinite?

You know, you really shouldn't start your question with "for *intelligent* atheists". You are just belittling with that remark and that is very unbecoming. Also you need to study physics and cosmology a little more before asking such questions. That also doesn't make you look good.

Dear miss "intelligent",
These things do not demonstrate anything of the sort. How much of a coincidence is it that out of all the planets in the universe, intelligent life is only formed - and so the question can only be asked - on planets that support life?
Your other 'explanation' is a fantasy, and your understanding of probability nonexistent.
Please read 'the god delusion' if you want to discuss atheism intelligently.

Study some statistics and chaos theory and get back to us. Trillions of variations occur simultaneously. You can attempt to deduce intelligent design into anything, it is a form of cognitive dissonance. It is also species vanity to assume that only humans can infer "intelligence".

Is God in the universe, or is the universe in God?
When you can answer that question based on facts, get back to me on "intelligent" design.
Wait, let me rephrase that. When you can bring yourself to type a question that doesn't start with 'for "intelligent" atheists", then you can get back to me. Until then, have fun with belittling others.

So, you believe that because our galaxy looks too perfect, it must be intelligently designed.....by a "creator". Tell me, if there is a "creator".....who created this creator? And who created the creator of the creator? And so on....
Its a paradox.
Is it so difficult to believe that our beautiful galaxy, and universe was created by some meaningless chance? Why is it so difficult for people to believe that their life has no purpose?

Um, no. Sorry, your "random chance" thing doesn't cut it, and "intelligent design" is absolutely ridiculous. The universe is FAR too complex to have been the result of intelligent design.
Why the scare quotes around "intelligent"? Are you insinuating that atheists are not intelligent? In fact I am an atheist, and I am quite intelligent, as are atheists in general.
Your post would have worked better without the gratuitous insult.
My suggestion to you would be (1) participate without insulting. I think that you can probably manage it - you did manage to resist ranting inanely, and weren't that far from having a reasonable (though false) post, and (2) study probablility and statistics. You seem to have one of the standard misconceptions, and it wouldn't take you long to rid yourself of it.
Later: Okay, now you're just digging yourself deeper. Play nicely or go away. And Varsity's answer is in fact correct: calling it "empty-headed" simply reveals your own ignorant arrogance, little girl.
