I don't like wasting coffee, but BUNN does not make a 5 cup coffee maker...

Can't you just put in less coffee gounds and less water, and still brew coffee the same?

Yes, you most definitely can! Just measure the amounts of cups of coffee you would like and fill up the back with some water using the mug you will be using. Then, you won't waste and you have the perfect amount.

Yes, less water and less coffe. I usually make 4-6 cups in my 12 cup maker.
