O God,
I need to feel that I have forgiveness from You. So often my good intentions do not become what I want them to be, and so often the good I want to do, I don’t do. It is hard to face up to the wrong that is in my life. When I feel Your forgiveness, I feel clean and good inside and so free to be what You want me to be. Help me feel this goodness, and strengthen me to forgive those who have wronged me.
I pray in the name of Christ who shows us the way to Your forgiving presence. Amen.
___________
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

In the BIBLE, there is no "prayer of forgivness". GOD expects Christians to pray when they have sinned unintentionally and ask for HIS forgivness. IF you have publicly sinned then you need the prayers of the Church after you have publically announced them. Have a great evening.

I personally stick with the "our father" or Lords prayer as it was the one Jesus told the apostles and followers to use and the 23 psalm maybe a hail mary for good measure. I'm not certain but I believe just praying and knowing what you did was wrong is enough. as if you follow the teachings of Christ you know that we are forgiven for all sins by his sacrifice. In any case if you know its wrong don't do it if you did it and know its wrong don't do it again. What ever your belief or who you pray to be a good person I think that is the way it is meant to be. Keep to the golden rule and talk or pray to a higher power believe in yourself and love all you'll be fine.

Forgive and you will be forgiven, That is what the Holy Bible says. Otherwise your Father in Heaven will not forgive youl
Forgiveness is an action, Not just a prayer and a way.

God hears the sincere prayer of any man or woman. Jesus gave the example of the penitent man who prayed "God be merciful to me a sinner" ...saying that was the kind of prayer God listens to instead of the one made by the arrogant pharisee "God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. " Jesus commended the penitent man... "I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted." Luke 18:10-14
If you want to say a prayer and really mean it... you could pray like this...
Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I have made a lot of mistakes and I need your forgiveness. Please forgive me now. Come and cleanse me from my sin. Help me to live for you every day. I am sorry for my sin. I want you to be the One in charge of my life... Thank you for forgiving me. Amen."

There is no magic prayer of forgiveness. Forgiveness is extended to those who recognize the wrong of their sins, confess those sins to God, determine in their heart not to repeat them, repent of them and display the fruitage of repentance.
They must have faith in the ransom sacrifice of Christ Jesus and try to govern their lives in harmony with that. But there is no magic bullet. And when all of the above is done, if one is not sincere, God is not going to extend forgiveness.

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

There is no one "prayer of forgiveness" per say!
For all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, forgiveness has been freely given. If we acknowledge our wrongs and ask for forgiveness, God will forgive us - no questions asked: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9).
If you understand that you are a sinner, and you believe that Jesus Christ came as the one and only Redeemer of sin, then you understand the prayer of forgiveness.
The question is – are you ready to implement the prayer, by receiving God’s gift of His Son, Jesus Christ?
If so, believe in Christ, repent of your sins, and commit the rest of your life to Him as Lord:
Following is a sample prayer you might follow:
“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

your prayers should come from within your heart when you talk to God. Find a comfortable, quite place. Get down on your knee, bow head, closes eyes and speak with your heart. Continue to establish a personal relationship with God

Just pray, Jesus, I believe You are God and You died for my sins and rose again. Please forgive me for my sins, and let me be in heaven with You when I die.
This is all you need.
