I am 14, years old, and I like this boy, now im not sure if he likes me, but me being shy with telling a boy that I like them, I dont know what to do, I also dont know how to hint to him I like him without being, retarded or Obvious.
Hes in my grade and i met him at the begining of this year, we arent exactly close friends, but hes nice to me and talks to me no matter if hes around his other friends. He hugs me, but he holds me for a little bit before letting go, but he hugs other girls as well, but not that long.
Last night we had a dance and he was there, with no one particular just a group of friends, Like me. my friend and I were there He came to me and my friend several times, for no reasons, saying stuff like his friends left, or they were off dancing. Because we both thoguht the music sucked.
When I came to school upset He asked me what was wrong, and seemed like he actually cared. We also talk alot but we have never been best friends
also how could i hint that i like him?

I used to be shy like you. It wasn't that easy neither. This is what I did. I told my best, best friend about the feelings I had for this guy when I was 13. One day she told the guy. That is how the boy knew that I liked him.
Another point here: He might be that kind of guy that likes hugging different kind of girls that when he grow older he will be running with girls all the time. And that is not good for a love relationship, because it brings to much headaches and problems. Better seek guys that value their time, that understand the values and principles of family, friendships, and true boyfriend/girlfriend Love.

It's been a long time since I was 14. I sure would have liked it if a thoughtful and probably cute girl like you had told me she liked me. I would have really been worried if I was cute enough to be attractive to anyone when I was a 14 year old boy.

Just take it easy and enjoy the process.

Guys like to pursue it caters to that male ego!lol

What I like to do is invite the boy to the movies preferrably a scary one. And, even if it's not scary, at the 'scary' parts, jump and cover your eyes on his shoulder.. if he asks anything like.. so 'do you like anyone?' say yeah.. this one boy, dont tell him who if you're afraid he doesnt like you back.. but keep him guessing. And if you just think that's too much work, well just go ahead and tell him. If he doesnt feel the same way, he's a jerk and you should move on to someone worth your time.

let just say this your to young to be with,talking to boys get and education first and then think about boys that should be the last thing on your mind think about school don't be like those other 14year old girls who's giving more up then a toliet seat do get you grades not boyfriends it's alright to have a crush but just leave it like that i'm a mother of a 12year old and she listens when i told her that cuz she see young girls her age who thought they knew when it came to boys and they now have babies and messed up there lives don't let it happen to you be smart.say no to boys for now and yes to books it's better for your life.

i say get to know him better, and when it comes to the point where your good enough friends to tell him, tell him. or you can ask who he likes, when it comes up in a conversation.

Just tell him! I cant tell you how many chances I have missed with good ppl. from not just letting them know how I felt myself.
