& the one who introduced us, threw us together is jealous ?
What is the deal here ? Shouldn't she be happy for us ?

That sounds petty of her to be jealous. If she is a good friend talk to her about it. If shes just an acquaintance then don't worry about it. If you like each other go for it.

She's jealous that she won't be able to spend as much time with you as she has. She regrets getting the two of you together.

Sounds like she wanted him. More than likely, he didnt want her, but didnt think he'd like you. Sounds like the classic girlfriend jealousy. Talk to her. Ask her why shes jealous and if its cause she liked him first. Ask why she didnt try to go after him first. No man should come between 2 best friends, unless y'all aint truely best friends.
