Do you think it's right to just buy a dog and tie it to a tree with no shelter and not fed and watered properly?Also people just get dogs for breeding and keep alot of the same breed in the same cage the size of a rabbit cage.And when they get tired of having the same breed they just sell or uthinize them. My mom knows a guy who was breeding all kinds of dogs and kept them in cages the size for rabbits.He had schipperke's and just got tired of them and says he didn't make enough money off of them so if he didn't find them homes he would uthinize them!!!!Poor dogs. But he only had 1 male and 2 females and someone took the boy and we took a tiny little girl who's brown and 3.Then someone else took the last girl and gave her back because she wouldn't eat!So he was going to uthinize her but my mom (even though she didn't want to) took her and we're fostering her till we find her a good home.Now don't you think it's wrong to do what I just said.

It is wrong and the person is despicable. Jerks like him are the reason so many people are against backyard breeders.

Of course, who wouldn't think it's wrong? I think that people need to think twice about getting a dog before they get one because if at first the idea of getting a dog seems great but then don't want him or her after a week is horrible. If people are going to get a dog then they need to think about if they can give it shelter, if they can feed it, if they can exercise it, and just in general take care of it and if they find that they can't do any of those things then they need to either a) give it back to the owner if the owner is responsible and doesn;t keep them in rabbit sized cages or b) give it to an animal rescue program that wont uthinize the animal and make sure it goes to a good home

It is not right to treat a dog that way. It is also not right to be an irresponsible breeder, as this man is. He should be reported. He is part of the reason pet stores end up with puppies and kittens that have very poor health and our animal shelters are filled to the brim. All so he could make a few dollars.....Good for you and your mom for doing what you can, however, he still needs to be reported for animal cruelty.

l think that is very wrong and we call these guys and gals money hogs. and he should have been reported. l do no approve of any animal being kept in a confinement to small to give proper exercises and freedom to roan a little bit. only the full size kennels l do approve of,,if the animal is taken out to socialize and exercises. the man was cruel to those dogs. your mom and you are great people.

Of course it's wrong! No animal should have to live like that. What you have there is a puppy mill, contact the SPCA and they can shut him down and remove the animals. If you don't have an SPCA call the police and he can be arrested for animal cruelty. Don't let him continue to harm innocent animals.

This is animal cruelty. Report him to the local ASPCA, Humane Society, Animal Control, whoever has jurisdiiction over animals in your area. This is just plain wrong. Sounds like a puppy mill.

That is disgusting - I can't believe that someone could be so horrible! Good on you, your mum and the other person for taking the dogs! - even though you're not going to keep one of them, you and your mum would be more responsible finding her a decent home rather than killing her!!

If he is tying out dogs without food and water or shelter, he is committing abuse and breaking the law. Breeding and keeping in cages may also be abusive. Call your local animal control authorities and turn him in.

That person should not be breeding dogs if that is the way he treats them!! You should call animal control on him. That is a very good thing you did for that little puppy.
