i permed my hair (i have curly indian hair) and i am using cocunut oil now my indian friend is saying that its bad to perm ur hair because cocunut oil is natural and it wont work on a chemical hair please help me out

Whatever works for you .If the coconut oil is working then keep using it .What works for perms in any type of hair is a deep conditioner once a week .Leave it on for 3 mins then rinse out .A serum by paul mitchell is good its called super skinny.Oil in your hair thats not natural will relax your perm . Just use what you like your hair will show you what it like no matter what you culture is .

It's OK to oil the scalp with it but don't rub it on your hair it can cause breakage..Use hair motorizing lotion if you want to rub something on your hair.
