Someone who has doubts would be closer to being Agnostic than an Atheist. Atheists simply do not believe in god. We know that religion is a real thing. Of course we do not agree with any religion because it is based on the belief in a god.

An atheist is someone who doesn't believe in the existence of a god.
I know several Christians who believe in God, but don't believe in the idea of organized religion.

Atheist are people who don't believe in god. they believe that Atheism is a religion in it self. so yes they believe in the idea of religion but not god. they don't believe in prayin to god and worshiping him
