have no navigation window on firefox. checking navigation or unchecking it has no effect?
neither does uninstalling and reinstalling firefox

. I found one person on internet who had same problem so apparently it has happened to others and he tried numerous things to restore it but could not understand all he said. I have firefox 2 and everyone who answered on here said view toolbars check navigation. This is not working.. help..need someone advanced in computers to answer.

If you don't know how do I contact firfox for advice or who might know.

socomhi's--oh that is the guy I mentioned but I couldn't understand it, but I think my son might if I ever get to see him (he's a computer whiz but always busy..but now I have the link so thanks)

Alot of times when you uninstall and application it does not remove everything. Try uninstalling again and than make sure there are no folders or registry keys remaining. Reboo the computer and reinstall again.

-uninstall firefox
-run ccleaner to clean the uninstallation

run the following two menus of ccleaner
cleaner > Analyze > Run Cleaner
Issues > Scan For Issues > Fix Selected Issues

(1) You need to use:

View, Toolbars, make sure Navigation Toolbar is checked.

then:

(2) View, Toolbars, Customize.

Scroll down to see "Location".

Drag it up to where you want it to be (probably right after Home, and before New Tab).

simply uninstall firefox and then reinstall a fresh copy.
