I don't know why people have to be so self righteous all the time we know you meant spayed you just made a typo big deal people!! And the other thing i dont know why people have to go straight to dignosing your dog with cancer it is ridiculous.
Now i have that of my chest ,your dog when spayed should have had her ovaries and her uterus removed (Ovarian hysterectomy), However you may want to check with your vet as some vets may do it a bit different.
However if your dog is bleeding and it has been a while since surgery you should have your dog checked. One of the beautiful things about desexing your dog is they cannot get a symptom call Pyometra (A Gross infection of the uterus, may result in death), however it is still possible for your dog to get a stump pyometra if the vet has left to much of the stump of the uterus behind. So i am not sure if you are asking the question because your dog is still bleeding or you are hoping that your dog will stop having a heat and thus stopping seasonal bleeding if you have her desexed. Yes it will.
if your dog has had the surgery get her checked it is not normal

They shouldn't be able to BUT if even a bit of female tissue is left behind at the time of spaying it can cause the scent of being in heat when in reality she isn't actually in heat nor can conceive if she goes through the mating ritual.
My female was spayed at a 12 weeks and when she became of heat having age she started attracting my unneutered male and it was very disconcerting as my female was only about 30 lbs at this age and my male was 106 lbs. . . the thought of this was very unnerving.
I consulted my vet who told me of this and suggested that I bring my female in for a hormone check at which time it was discovered that she had a yeast infection.
Medication resolved the problem and it hasn't happened since.
Yes,I was totally relieved but I found this to be very interesting.

First dogs don't have periods..they have heat cycles which usually occur twice a year and no a dog will not go in heat again after being spayed. A spay is a complete hysterectomy...no reproductive organs remain.

no your dog is not able to get her period after she is spayed. If that is happening, take her to the vet immeadiately because it sould be something fatal.

No. If she is spayed, they've removed her uterus, so no bleeding from heat should occur.
