There's a new guy at our school and we felt bad for him.So we invited him into our group. The bad thing is we're too much alike and my boyfriend's best friend said that me and him are alike and it seems we're going out instead of me and my bf.But I don't think that's true cuz we hold hands, hug, and kiss. I don't even hug my friend. But I have this feeling that my bf is starting to think that as well. Should I stay away from my new friend for a while or stay close to my bf when we're hanging out? What should I do????

Do whatever you believe is right. If your boyfriend has trust in you, he will know that you don't like anyone else besides him. Perhaps this is the point that tests you & your bf's relationship. If needed, talk about this with your bf & assure him there's none other for you.

If you don't have feelings for the other guy then dont worry about what your bfs best friend says. Talk to your boyfriend about it though and find out if his friend was just giving you the message. Let your boyfriend know what is going on and make sure he knows that you dont like this other guy. And keep in mind, that all these things will pass in time, life will work itself out, so dont stress too much enjoy being young.

Girl, if you have a boyfriend and really love him, why are you hanging out with other guys? Are you sure this other friend is just a friend, and there is not some stuff going on? it sounds like your just playing games. I wouldn't be surprised if you boyfriend is seeing someone on the side because of this, or thinks he is second best. I'd tell him to dump you and find someone that would be there for him 24/7, someone like me!

I wouldn't dump this new friend of yours because then he'll know you just felt bad for him,and that's not only hurting him that'll hurt you even worse.Your Boyfriend is just a little jeolous. If you ask me i'd talk to your friend and tell him that your just friends he may not think you as a girlfriend and he may not like you as a girlfriend but that tells him that you just want to be friends if he does like you. Then you should talk to your boyfriend tell him that you and your friend aren't dating or like eachother like relationship wise.Spend a lot of time with your boyfriend.Still don't dump your new friend hang out with him but ask your boyfriend to join.Oh and by the way you shouldn't become friends with someone because you fill bad for them that just shows you don't really want to be friends with him and that's an aweful thing to do.Be friends with him because you want to not because you feel sorry because you wouldn't like it if you were new and people pretended to like you I sure wouldn't.Well I hope this advice was helpful good luck

Well I think that maybe you should think about this...If it was your boyfriend in this situation and he had a new female friend that he hung out with a lot would u like it?? I don't see anything wrong with you hanging out with your new friend, but one thing you shouldn't do is put him before your boyfriend and you shouldn't spend more time with him than you do with your bf!!!

I don't think you should stay away because most of the time friends are there when our boyfriends are gone. Just explain to your boyfriend what you think is going on. A little communication solves a lot.

First of all, if you boyfriend really likes you, and trusts you it shouldn't matter who your friends are, or how much time you spend with them. He should know your not that type of girl. if you feel your boyfriend is more important to you, then only hang out with your guy friend when your with your boyfriend. So your boyfriend can't get jealous.

Try going out more often alone with your boyfriend, and then to only go out in groups with your other friend...at least for a little while. You don't have to ignore your friend, but you can hang a little closer to your boyfriend.

There's nothing wrong with having guy friends, but your beau may be feeling a little neglected.

i dont think that you should stay away, but be careful. because you never know, you could end up having feelings for this new guy, and it'll all go downhill from there. theres a big difference between friends and boyfriends, and you can obviously see that with what you said.

I wouldnt completly ignore your friend but it would be a good idea to spen more time with your bf so that he knows that hes the one you wanna go out with and not your friend. If he cant understand that then hes just way to jealous.
