I disagree. There are FAR more WORSE things than having a person that you think loves you abandon you. That's when you simply find a new person worth more his salt. I mean if it came down to physical torture a hairs breath away from death, or abandonment from a "lover"? I am DEFINITELY going to go with the latter of the two.
