Can you please help[ me this why are people stabbing me?
I am a 29 year old female. I am always getting put down. I am so sick of it. Mostly by females. My mother makes up stories when she is jealous of me. My friends husband puts my looks down in front of his wife. My husbands mother is always rolling her eyes at me the only time she likes me is when i dont wear makeup and i dont smile. my sisters wont call me at all. i went over my aunts hosue and my two aunts were telling me i have bags under my eyes and i look like edith bunker. I am pretty i am a model and yet i am always getting put down and i am sick of it. my girl friends come and go. they get mad at me if people give me free gifts and they have a fit. always getting negitive things said to me. i get called ditzy and a d---- bag. my family talks bad about me before i even come home for christmas. why are people this way so mean and hurtful. mostly the women. if the women dont like me they turn their husbands against me

ignore the first lot that answered - not exactly sensitive. anyway, one day you WILL find a group of friends that will love and support you. my advice is spend less time with those that put you down so you will free up more time to invest in people that might actually appreciate you. you might feel a tad lonely in the crossover period but you'll grab some better mates and then it'll all be worth it. join some clubs or classes to mix with some different people. remember don't push yourself on people - you're worth people coming to you good luck xx

you sound a little self involved to me...and a little insecure...and a little like you are on here fishing for some compliments to boost your insecurities.......if you are that confident and pretty you dont need to go around telling everyone about it...it will come out from inside...beauty even to men isnt always that shallow...it sounds to me as if you expect a little too much and despite how pretty you are you are desperately seeking a little approval....try and figure out where you need boosting and dig deep...think about this ...beauty of the shallow kind sits on the surface like a dull stagnant pond unless your inner beauty flows forth like an ever changing flowing river.......im only giving you my opinion based upon what you wrote and how you wrote it...im not judging you...men have their own minds too...i doubt that all women turn their husbands against you...if your family are unsupportive nd mean...dont be a doormat...you dont have to be around them....try being a little more assertive and dig deep for that confidence...good luck...;0)

This doesnt mean you r a bad person or even a stuck up betch. Your family MUST just be jealous.you could have a great body,life,or husband. you should talk to your modeling friends or better yet make some.they might know about what your going thru

why do you care? why do you let it hurt you? if these people sense you can be hurt by it, they'll hurt you. maybe you do have bags under your eyes. if people are jealous, it's THEIR peoblem, find new friends. if you keep losing friends, you may be doing something you are not aware of to put them off you. do you act conceited? that is a real put off, especially if the person isn't all that. i modeled and got lots of free stuff when i was in college and my friends thought it was funny. they are still my friends, years later. confront your family next time they say something and maybe they'll think about it before criticizing you.

Agreed with personx3. They're robably jealous because you're a model and you get free things. Don't mind them; they just want you to feel bad. Some people are happy in seeing others in misery, so just ignore them. Don't pay attention to their looks and comments. It's for the best.

I think they are all jealous of you , you are a model very pretty , I´ts sad really that family´s are like this to one another, take it like a pitch of salt girl , let them be miserable you enjoy life and don´t let other´s put you down

jealousy is at the root of this behaviour. Be careful never to show off your looks, career, free gifts, etc. to any of the people you've mentioned. Don't give them any reason to snipe at you.
Try to make some new friends who will like you for who you are. Good luck and don't give up hope.

Sounds like jelousy! Would the hubands go against you without "wifey" there?
Just laugh it off, this seems to really agitate the ones who are doing this. After a while it won't be fun anymore to put you down!
Or just ask them outright why they are doing this, could be insecurity issues

Something about you must be outstanding, either negative or positive. I would say that it is positive, you are a pretty model. It is hard that your own family is making live hard for you as well. Beware, or be aware of what life, and others can do. Have faith in God.
