Healing: "They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead. But he took her by the hand and said, "My child, get up!" Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up" Luke 8:53
"When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. John 11:43

"When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "Its a ghost" they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them, "Take courage! I am!" Matthew 14:27
Inclusion of outsiders - When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?" On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick" Matthew 9:11
Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted" Matthew 15:28 (to a Gentile woman... Gentiles were definitely outsiders)

Religious legalism and hypocrisy
"If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? How much more valuable is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath" Matthew 12:11
"The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach" Matthew 23:2
