i know he needs medical care as soon as possible, that is just the problem!! I can't seem to find one in my area that is opened on Sunday, even 24/7. I have been on the phone for the past few hours, trying to locate an open vet and yet to have been able to find one!!! That is where i seem to be running into the problem!! What exactly should i do seeing as there is no availability to an open vet??
Is there any way I can at least comfort him?
I'm unsure if there is pus or anything of that nature, associated from or with this (in his mouth)...
I AM REALLY SCARED AND FREAKING OUT!!! I FEEL HELPLESS, this cat is a family member, and being a mother as well as the owner of Mr. Jingle's, it's my obligation and responsability to make sure he is going to be alright, and SO FAR.. it seems that i can't get emergency care for him,AND HE DESPERATLEY NEEDS IT!!! NOW!!!!!
PLEASE HELP ME AND TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!
THANK YOU!!

he is peeing, so obviously he IS drinking water at least!! But he IS NOT eating his (hard AND/OR) cat food, he's just been laying around... pretty much "lifeless".

Our cat had an ear infection that made it hard for him to eat. We tried twice to treat with antibiotics, and each time he rallied only to get worse. Once they are not going to the bathroom, often their systems have shut down. It make take weeks, but by the time you notice they are not eliminating waste AND not eating, it's only a matter of days until the end. Our Rascal was only 16 months old. If you can't afford an emergency vet ASAP, you can still take the cat in the morning, but realistically, it might be too late already. I hope I'm wrong.

Firstly, calm down - hopefully you'll be able to find a vet soon :D
Secondly, how is your cat's teeth? My puppy had a swollen face one afternoon when I got home and when we rushed her to the vet he said that she had a abscess on one of her baby teeth, which was the reason for the swelling. She was also running a temp, and was very docile (and for a Border Collie, it's just plain weird!!)
It could very well be a insect sting, or something of the nature. The best thing is to take her to whatever vet you can find that is open and get her checked out. Good luck!!

Probably she's not eating because her mouth hurts, and therefore not producing waste. If she's not peeing either, that means she's not drinking. Take her to a vet, IMMEDIATELY. She will soon be dehydrated, and she probably needs medical attention to address the infection or abcess on her face. Can you tell me more, like if it's her whole face or her mouth or her cheek? And if she lets you look into her mouth, do it and look for blood or redness or pus.

I would take it to a vet asap. It could be digestive tract or excretory system problems. I'm not sure about the swollen face.. but usually not eating or going to the bathroom could mean things like kidney stones etc.

Hi, you mentioned you are in St. Petersburg, you mean in Florida right? (There's a St. Petersburg in PA too.) Did a quick search for emergency vets, try this:
http://www.yellowpages.com/sp/yellowpages/ypresults.jsp?refined_category=Veterinarian+Emergency+Services&q=emergency+vet&rType=headingtext&id=0&p=1&referrer=2&v=3&t=0&st=FL&s=2&ci=Saint+Petersburg&_requestid=331831
Looks like that one in Pinellas Park isn't too terribly far from you. Well the directory gave the phone #s anyways, good luck, hope your cat is ok!

This is an emergency. She needs to go to the vet ASAP.
It could be anything from a sting to an infection. If she is not eating or drinking, or going to the bathroom she could die very quickly.

Bring your cat to the vet AS SOON AS POSSIBLE because she is sick and suffering from some fatal disease. It could be kidney failure, panleukopenia etc etc. Cats that refused to eat and drink need to be rehydrated by dripping otherwise your cat may collapse and lost consciouse. Please listen to us, bring her to the veterinary hospital as soon as possible, your cat needs URGENT treatment.

Your cat may have an abcessed tooth, that may have to be pulled. Take it to your vet, he'll do whats necessary.

Hi there...consider ringing any of the local animal shelters in your region as they will know who provides a 24 hour veterinary care.
