I really don't feel like drying my hair and I need to flat iron it, but I don't know if I'll get electricuted or something. So is it okay?

You wont get electricuted or anything. But it can be very damaging to your hair. And cause your hair to have a lot of problems. Not only that but it tends to make your hair more frizzy once straightened. Which is not something you want.
Your best if you do not want to dry your hair is to wrap it in a towel for 15 minutes then take it down and let it air dry the rest of the way (should only take about 10-15 more minutes) this is one of the faster ways of air drying your hair.
Then flat iron it...but do not forget to use some sort of oils or flat iron protection!

Hair is more fragile when wet and it isn't a good idea to flat iron wet hair, even if the packaging says you can. The damage will be more severe than it has to be. The sizzling and smoking isn't good. If you see or smell smoke, that means something is burning. While your hair is damp, apply a product that protects your hair from heat. The ingredients should include dimethicone or panthenol. Let your hair air dry or use a blow dryer and then use the flat iron. CHI flat irons work OK at first, but they break easily and have short "lifespans". But--the CHI Silk Infusion serum is excellent. P.S.--Don't worry to much. You only ironed one section. I doubt the damage is bad.

A definite No. There are flat irons that can be used on Wet or Dry but the avg. price is $200 dollars.

Like the previous post I suggest you air dry. While your hair is wet apply a heat protectent leave-in so that it will already be applied to your hair when your ready to flat iron.

you won't get electricuted if you flat iron your hair when it is wet but it is very damaging for your hair and it will make your hair very frizzy. so if you don't like blow drying your hair let your hair air dry. it doesn't take that long.

I'm not sure if you'll get electrocuted or whatever..but if you want to flat iron it while its wet, you should get a special straightener like Wet2Straight...it dries and straightens at the same time

But straightening hair while its wet really harm your hair..so you should get a special straightening cream for your hair..it's heat protect. I use L'oreal StudioLine Hot Straight and it really works for me

No, no, no, STOP! I don't think you'll get electrocuted, but you'll kill your hair and create split ends that will make you LOOK like you stuck your finger in the socket. Towel dry your hair and add some product that protects your hair. (I use Thermasilk's Sleek and Shine or Fructic Shine Serum.) Dry it until it is just a little damp and then straighten.

-Or-
Put it in a ponytail and tuck it under your favorite baseball cap. :)

I've tryed that before and it lefted my hair griddy. Plus it didn't even do anything for my hair. I suggest not using it while your hair is wet unless you want a bad hair day!

I have the straighting hairdryer by conair and it is wonderful and perfect for multitasking! Or use a A straighter ment for wet hair!

You won't get electrocuted, but your hair will be fried.

If you do that a few times you needn't worry about
straight hair anymore - because you will have to have it cut
so short, that all the dried and fried hair has to be removed.

That can damage and fry/dry your hair, if you don't feel like drying it grease/mosturize your hair and brush all the tangles out. So when you do feel like flatting it you hair won't be tangled.

No you won’t get electrocuted, but you shouldn’t flat iron your hair before it’s dry because it can be very damaging.
