I am going to upgrade my pc from a XP to Vista. But i heard that not all programs will run on Vista. If anyone can tell me what programs will not run on Vista that would be great. And also what PC games will not run on vista. Thanks.

If you got this information from the upgrade advisor, it is just a notice that the program may not work, this is mainly to help windows not be responsible. Some programs just may have to be reinstalled but just go ahead and upgrade and see where it goes from there. I personally am very excited about Vista, I plan to buy it at the end of the month.

DON'T DO IT!!!!! Don't upgrade to Vista right away! If you don't have at least 1 GB of RAM and kicka$$ processor, then your PC will run slower than ever. Besides, Microsoft is NOTORIOUS for having many many many issues with new OS's. I would wait at least a little while before upgrading. Please don't be a guinea pig for Vista. I am trying to save you from a major headache that is bound to happen!

This page provides everything that will be compatible with Windows Vista, minus new products being released on the market.

So, we're supposed to just magically know what programs out of BILLIONS aren't going to run on Vista? Yeah, that'll happen.
