women what do you prefer when you in a bar or club hanging out or what ever because i know most of the women in this world go to the clubs for the same thing a man goes for and thats to hook up... they just hide it a lot better... so tell yahoo answers, if you were being approached by a man in a club would you want him to ask to buy you a drink, have a nice conversation, try and use them corny a.s.s. pick up lines so you could get a good laugh in with your girls later, or just keep on moving... you dont have to choose i just want to know what women want...

Women want to dance when they go to the club. They want a sexy man to dance with. And most of the time, they want to get your number or for you to get theirs, but they don't want to hook up with you that night. They want you to call them. And as for the corny pick up lines, I find touching a guy works so much better than conversation ever does.

If I'm at a club, I don't want a man to offer to buy me a drink as a way of initiating conversation. If I am already talking to/dancing with a man, I think it shows good manners if the guy says he's going to the bar and "can I get you something".
I don't want lines, I don't want dumb jokes. I want a man who is comfortable with himself and can approach me without pretense.
If I'm at a club, I only have time for a man who has something to offer; not a man who is looking for something to take. I can get my own man; so I don't need to hang out and wait for a man to select me.
I don't go to clubs to hook up, so you might be getting advice form the wrong woman.

Thinking all the women here answered correctly, there was no "Best answer". Some women want to just get laid while another just wants to be with their friends, others yet have a defensive barrier at clubs and prefer a daytime approach. Being "picked up" kind of implies she is an object, like one woman said, "I can get my own man" because she is very perhaps selective and simply likes it to be her idea. When a woman is onboard and invested she has her way of giving signals which many men are incoherent of.

when i go to a club i go to have funn and meet ppl but i dont go looking for a hook up tht night. if i was being approched by a man i would wouldnt mind corny pick up lines, as long as hes funny and charming hes got my attention....btw nice abs in your display pic;-)
