my boyfriend and 2 room mates all agree to share the cost of condiments and the other room mate is gone right now for 2 months and if i and the 2 other roomates each chip in 5 bucks how much standard olive oil will that get us. are we being jipped cause he uses our laundry detergnt and wont pay for it should we keep it in our room or what .

Well, olive oil comes in different qualities; however, you should be able to get a decent amount (500ml) for 15 bucks assuming you are buying it at the local grocery store and not as some import market.

I pay $8.99 plus tax for a 17 ounce bottle of extra virgin Bertolli olive oil at the grocery store.

Dont be stingy but let him know where you and the others stand. Olive oil can be expensive but lots of other places sell it resonably cheap for ex. WalMart and believe it or not the Dollar General.

Depends on the quality. I pay about 8 euros (this stupid website does not recognise the symbol) in France for a litre of quality organic premier pression au froid.

$15 should get a pretty decent sized bottle of it

always get extra virgin olive oil, first cold press

the other kind has weird junk in it
