I absolutely would not.I would have no desire to see what he does or doesn't do on his p/c.
Of course I would expect the same respect for my privacy back.

No I would not, no matter what I want to tell myself it is never ok to abuse trust. I Have had people abuse my trust and I have learned that those are the people I would rather not be around. There is no reason or justification for you to be going through anyone's personal things. It has to do with principal. Trust and love.
Ask yourself what he has done to prompt you to reason that you have a need or right to be searching through his personal things. No matter what answer you come up with, there are other ways to deal with any situation that will not involve dirtying your hands with something like that. I believe you know it's wrong. So go with your gut. If you believe he may be doing something in his life that is criminal then you would do well to notify the proper authorities and or find professional help that can and will aid you in the discovering of his crimes.
Would I be tempted ??? I may very well be yes, would I go through with it?? No, because I am not willing to lose sleep over doing something I know is wrong for me to begin with. It's a beautiful thing to have a conscience, and even better thing when you can follow through and be conscientious.Be well and peace.

Leave it alone... there are private things that no child should know about their parents.... and if you find out something you wouldn't want to know... how do you put the genie back in the bottle... Then there's the trust issues... If dear old dad discovers that you've been peeking at his business...
Right now... no moral delimmas and everything is as it should be... why...why would you want that to change?

All I have to say is this...trust is the most important thing between two people...If you snoop...he may find out...then, you'll have to explain why you did it...and then, he may not trust you...which can lead to a breakdown in communication between you two...Best not to snoop...trust stays in tact...no problem...Everyone has the right to their privacy...I should know...learned a big lesson a few months back with my BECB...snoopers...look like poopers...keep that in mind! Make the right choice...k? ciao, CAKES

Yes. I would do an advanced search (making sure to turn on hidden files) for *.jpg, *.mpeg, *.mpg, *.avi.
Then again, maybe I wouldn't. Cause I might find something that would destroy my relationship with my father. And if I found nothing I would feel bad for having doubted him.
So, maybe not.

You bet! I would cruise his temporary internet files to see what he had been looking at. With my luck he'd have a keylogger and I'd get busted for trying to jack his AdultCheck password. :-)
