Who are you to say what McCain did and did not learn from his Vietnam experience? The fact that you are a Vietnam Vet does not make you a mind reader. You should not place yourself in a position to judge another Vietnam Vet for the sole purpose of espousing your own political beliefs. You should hang your head in shame.

You seem to have all the answers. Why don't you get a soap box and get out there educating people? Start in Arizona and get a view of the rest of the story as Paul Harvey likes to say.
Being around is not being there. You are like a race track fan who has never ridden a horse lecturing a jockey.
You fight to prevent being defeated. If Clinton had gone after terrorists the World Trade center buildings would still be standing. You obviously have learned your history from liberal contaminated sources. If you want to roll over and give, move to France. They have been good at giving up since the beginning of the 19th century.

I accept as true with you. through u . s . I even ought to outline that because the U. S. authorities, seperate from the human beings (because we were no longer consulted about both conflict and were lied to and coerced into both). the U. S. authorities did learn some issues from the Vietnam conflict. a million. It realized that it ought to no longer use a civilian military to do thier bidding. Civilians were no longer appropriate brainwashed and succumbed to conventional lifestyle norms of the time, which become very a lot anti-conflict interior the 60s and 70s. So, troops were utilising drugs, listening to similar music and listening to the more suitable sensible voices about what the conflict become about. they truly heard about the shortcoming of life toll's effect on the country and also heard somewhat the Vietnamese section too, because protesters presented that to mild. in this "conflict" we do not get that Bush regime (Reagan leftovers) knew to keep the body luggage secret, won't be able to instruct coffins all that... demonize Cindy Sheehan and the voice of military households agains the slaughter worked. 2. They realized that they ought to administration the media, no actuality canbe allowed, the media (compared to the 60s-70s) has thoroughly bowed to fascist stress and isn't any more suitable than a Governemnt mouthpeice. it takes tremendous ability to push aside attrocities like Fallujah, yet they did... they pacified the minds of people and keep us a a heightened state of worry so we do not ask the merciless questions. it particularly is psychological conflict adversarial to the american human beings and that is operating. I propose one extra... perhaps those who do undergo in concepts Vietnam ought to commence speaking about it more suitable, so we do not bypass over a similar route back, confer with youthful ones... my experience is they want the thoughts more suitable than ever and are prepared to withstand this governement... at the same time they're far more suitable politically dissallusioned than previously. The activists now look those misguied youthful Republicans and thier lot, who're ntohing more suitable than wondered indignant human beings searching for a scapegoat, typically Leftists from the 60s 70s in good structure that function properly, and they eat that, because the Left appears to be like drained of scuffling with... hmmm we want a Malcolm X to awaken the human beings back, supply them lower back thier delight somewhat, thier dignity, on the prompt we are weak and impotent and bored with liberals as a lot as conservatives... thats my rant, sorry. good question.

I don't know but he might have suffered too much as a POW, that is why he lost the primary last time, he did not learn and many people like us did not vote for him. He is a nice guy but just because he was a POW does not mean he was an expert at war or Viet Nam eh? not to be funny but he got caught and that alters your brain a bit doesnt it? I think they are obsessed with correcting the mistakes they made, but the tendency is to forget those mistakes. Plus these guys are old and it would be better to have younger and older together for the check and balances, but ones that know military strategy and clearly Bush/Cheney know money, and McCain is targeting a wrong song for a very old concept, that is clearly wrong and yes he will repeat it. He drinks too much and is a gambler at the Casinos regularily but I like his concepts about Campaign contributions, and the fact that he supports the young men in the ROTC in Arizona? Okay US Senator too, but war eh? Sorry I have to add this note since you are getting bashed here, General Patton one of my favorites said there are no Dead Heroes, and No captured ones either. And he does not someone that calls a person a hero because they died or were captured for their country??? I agree with that as much as I agree there is skin on my body. A living guy is a hero, the dead one is to be honored for bravery. And it is a shame and we mourn but I would rather have a living hero to rescue me like Mc Cain was rescued by a hero right? A bunch of them at that.

Maybe he's a disgrace in your eyes, but in mine he's a hero.
And if he runs for President, I just might vote for him.
