I am planning to buy a 2000 Ford mustang with 105000 miles on it, There is an engine check light on it but the owner tells me it is a small problem with the hydrogen pump sensor which I am not sure. Can anyone tell me whether is it okay to buy a 2000 ford mustang with so many miles on it and how long does an average mustang last.

If it was a small problem,he should fix it before you buy it. you could go to a auto parts store and have them scan the computer before you buy it to find out the real reason the check engine light is on and ask them how much it would be to fix

Do your homework. Like Madonna's song "Holiday" says: 'Fancy cars that go very fast, u know they never last no no'
Look in CARFAX (pay the $25 fee which could save u thousands).
Mustangs, being inexpensive as used vehicles, can have a history of testosterone-abuse. however, If adult-driven and if it has been serviced regularly and properly you could have a car with a long lifespan on it

look check car auctions for good prices, http://carauctions.deals-guide.com , great auctions there some were like 50% off the real price , you can find a better condition car than that
