An Arizona lawmaker has introduced a bill to revise the state's statutes on organized crime and fraud by defining "domestic terrorism" in such a way that members of the Minuteman Project or other border-patrol groups could be prosecuted and forced to serve a minimum six-month jail term.

PHOENIX -- A proposed new law would make felons out of members of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps -- and probably some neighborhood watch groups.
HB 2286 would make it a crime for any individual or group not affiliated with law enforcement to patrol "to detect alleged illegal activity" if armed. Violators would be subject to up to 18 months in state prison.

Why are the Minutemen called BIGOTS?
Because the Minutemen and their supporters use derogatory terms against ALL Latinos/Hispanics. They attack a centuries old culture that is as American as any other culture and propose laws banning Language, Customs and Traditions that have been a part of the Southwest (Aztlan) since the 1500s. The term "Illegal" has become the new code word for "Beaner" - that's why.

Your statement calling American Patriots bigots who are protecting their boarders from drug dealers and illegal aliens is absolutely amazing. The left says they are just a people trying to improve their lives and the American Patriots are bigots. 95 percent of California's outstanding warrants for homicide are illegal aliens. How many terrorist's have entered our country through Mexico? How many times have illegal narcotic entered this country through Mexico? So this must be proof positive that the left wishes to destroy the way of life in America.

Protecting the border is patriotism and has nothing to do with bigotry. The whiners who complain about this sort of thing would also be the first to whine if a bunch of illegal Mexican nationals came in and threw them out of their jobs.

I live in Arizona and trust me this will NEVER pass.
The Minute Men are not bigots or racists .They are patriotic men and women from all walks of life.They are black,brown,red,yellow and white.They are teachers,doctors,lawyers,ranchers,business owners,clergymen,and blue collar workers.They are not ignorant red necks as you PRO illegals love to call them.They are helping the Border Patrol They haven't shot at or killed anyone.They DO NOT advocate bigotry.

If you dont have a problem with illegals I have to assume you dont have a job and support yourself. The illegals are NOT paying taxes or paying into social security. Instead they make money and send it home. Do you really think that balances out with all they take from our system of education, health and welfare?

If true its bull and won't pass. Guess I'm a bigot too for thinking the boarders need to be protected? And so is anyone else who thinks that you should have to do more than walk across the boarder to be in this country? Guess I'll have to change jobs (work in a Hispanic club for Hispanic bosses with many Hispanic friends who think the same way I do.).

I think the border would be flooded with patriots if this bill passed. We will not be told to sit down, shut up, and take it any more. If illegals don't have to obey the law then neither do we!
