im 17 .... been hangin out with this dude thats 23...
everyone says hes too old n no one that age would want a girl my age... they say he only wants sex..... but he wakes up early every morning to talk to me before school.... and tells his friends about me n writes nice stuff on his myspace about me....
what do ya think? am i being used??? cus it dont look like it to me

the question for you is... are you sleeping with him yet? have you had that talk? do you want to be sexually involved with him? guys can be really nice till you "give in" then they can disappear or whatever, but not all guys. he's young and we all know girls mature faster than boys so your age difference really isn't much, but because you are "jail bait" and you are in different phases of your lives, the difference seems huge. it basically comes down to this- do you see yourself having a long relationship with him? is he worth your trouble? meaning, does he have a job or is he going to college, is he self-supporting? i would advise to let the relationship grow, without taking the irreversible step of sex until you are together for a while and have been through some changes together, like you graduating high school, or him landing a career-type job. do you know about any of his past girlfriends? does he tend to date much younger girls? if so, i would beware. some men find young girls easier to control and dominate. if he shows any sign of this behavior, run away as fast as you can. and if you decide to have sex with him, please, please go to a clinic and get reliable birth control. that is part of being an adult. do not play russian roulette with your future.
ask those questions of yourself and you will find an answer. trust your gut instincts, they are usually not wrong.

That sounds like, he just wants to manipulate you.
Yea he's too old 4 ya.
He'd b ok 4 if u were 22, 23,24,or 25.
Since your not,tough luck girl.
Try findin a guy w/ the same sign and that
is bout the same age or 1 year younger or older
than you.

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, it's a duck. Linnie if you feel that you're being used then your instincts are probably correct. Guys that age when dating someone of your age usually have but one thing on their minds as far as any type of relationship goes. Do yourself a big favour and listen to them friends that are suggesting he is a bit too old and go out and find someone more age appropriate for yourself.

I just hate to see you limit yourself to one fella for the rest of your days! There are so many wonderful ones, and if you hold out to find one your friends and family like as much as you do , it will increase your chances down the road of finding that place called
"happily ever after".
Concentrate on your school and grades, do well while your brain is fresh and smart....the rest will come, my dear, the rest of your life will stand stronger with a solid education beneath you!!!

17 means you are in High School. Any respectable adult, aka not in High School, would not date anyone in High School. The man is probably immature and down right bad news.
At the end of the day, you will only understand that when you get out of High School.

Nah it could happen. Dont let him have what everyone thinks he wants for a while!! If you havent had sex with him yet dont do it, if thats all he wants he will get tired of waiting. Age is just a number.

Well, age doesn't matter at all and only you can really tell if he loves you. And sometimes you can be wrong and maybe then your friends will say "I told you so" but that's a chance you take with love.

he sounds liek a nice guy. turst me if a guy wanted sex he wouldnt go through all that! he's a little older but girls usually go for older guys...
