I know , here in Ohio, if you refuse the breathalyzer ( BAC test ) , you are autoatically found guilty of DUI in court..and they will give you the maximum allowed suspension... The time depends on how many prior offenses you have had, if any at all...

Its best to just take the BAC test and fail it than to refuse...

It's usually treated same as a DUI, so your license will probably be suspended for however long it is if it's a proven DUI; usually 30 days for the first offense. These laws really do vary from state to state, so check with your state to find out for sure.

You lose your license anywhere between 6 months and a year, it all depends on the severity of the case and the strictness of the judge

In California it is one year. But losing my liscence for a year seems way better than having a dui on record.
