if you are using microsoft word, you could go to insert>symbol and look it up there... of if you are using something else, use the character map program, under programs>Accessories>system tools...

but still alt+165 for Ñ and alt+164 for ñ is still the easiest choice.

The easiest way to access them is to use that alt, but you can also access them using the character map (go to start >> all programs >> accessories >> system tools >> character map and find the letter you want. Otherwise, for ñ, hold alt and press 164. Or you can buy a special Spanish keyboard that has the letters built in.

If you are using a PC, you can find a whole plethera of wierd characters under the "character map"
Go to the Start Menu, click on All Programs, click on Accessories, then click on System Tools.
There you will find the character map. You can scroll through until you find the character you want, click on it and hit the copy button. Just hit paste to put it in your document.
