I dont know which yoga hurts you. If you are referring about some physical exercise that was done without proper guidance then it is not yoga atleast in Krishna's terms. Yoga is from the root Yuj meaning to join (to the source).
Moksha is liberation from the effects of Samsara (the predispositions)
In short Moksha is remaining contended and happy always and in all ways.
Moksha is nothing to be achieved. As sage Ramana Maharshi points out, whose is bondage (bandha) to be liberated from. We all are already in Moksha. But we disturb our contentment by identifying with the thought flow in the waking state.
We are happy when asleep. We say I slept happily. Now after waking up from sleep, we say I am sorrowful, stressed. So what is the reason for stress. We cannot say that I was not conscious when asleep. If so how do you feel that you slept happily. Modern science and western psychology may call it subconsciousness or through other terms. In our culture we say that it was our natural state, but we most of the times colour ourselves with thoughts and assume that thoughts are us.
Anyway the problems are because our identification with the thoughts. So the solution to the problems are always because of I and mine. The solution can be by understanding who is that I which is referred, whether it is our thoughts or whether it is our real nature. Thoughts cannot be us, because it keeps changing and flowing in front of us. Anything which could witness is apart from ourselves.
This is meditation in Indian terms, finding out "WHO AM I" also called as Gnyana Yoga, the path of knowledge. In this way we find that we are our true nature and sorrow is only because of identification with useless temporary thoughts chain parading before us.
Devotion is complete surrender as everything is yours (including me). Even in that case there is no stress because we see everything as a gift of the primordial cause (GOD), so there is nothing for me separately, there even I am His. This also leads to the same goal.
Even if you go to an island, you cannot leave your mind. The problem is in our mind and not in the beings. It is in our perception. So let us expand our perception and live contended in the midst of the challenging surroundings. How to do this is well expounded in the Bhagavad Gita, where a confused man of action is raised by the wisdom words of the Lord). There is a download the installation version of this book with English translation and commentary. If this can help you, you can have it.

This is only my perception. I believe that everyone should take up their ancestral religious study alongwith other study that they feel could assist them in order to grow spiritually. The Kingdom of Heaven is within us is the experience of all saints. May we all reach that natural state of ours (Moksha) with our own efforts.

The Paramathma has no feet, I think you mean to merge with 'God". Development of the soul can be achieved through Dharma, but my (and I stress my) understanding is that Moksha is achieved only when one surpasses the concept of Karma. Meaning having 'sama-buddhi" equal mildness in all things. Actions must be carried out without wanting the fruits of those actions. The concepts of 'good' or 'bad' Karma has little meaning when one is taking about moksha. Technically, Prince Susipalla who was a good man but hated Krishna; insulting him, calling him names etc, merged with Krishna on his death. Not because what he did was 'good' but because he had an unwavering focus on the Divine. There is no one way to merge in Hinduism, every way can be correct depending on the soul's journey, because each soul is ultimately god.

realize...[accept] that LIFE FORCE ]is a ETERNALLY --LIVING ENERGY. that is every were and in every thing.
you don't need yoga per say--just look at a tree--its alive--you are alive--all creators are alive.life it self has existed for trillions of years, and Will probably exist to ever....i hope.
so this eternal living energy is moksha..and is in every cell of your body, right now, you cant realize it because it is to close to you.,remember air??it is every were.how often do we remember that we are breathing a invisible gas??
so [life is even closer to you than air]..just accept it,its hidden right in front of your face. right??.
accept it ....don't hunt for it. peace
