Can you please tell me some techniques for meditating? What benefits have you experienced by meditationg?

Here is one method of meditation. Choose a calm, monotonous experience to visualize. Here is an example: A long, winding river on a warm summer day is serene and continual. Imagine drifting freely like a leaf down the river. It is relaxing and unchanging. Imagine how it would feel, and nothing else. If outside thoughts intrude, let them float away.

Meditation is being quiet and listening. You dont have to try to do anything, all you need is quiet. It's not easy for anyone the beginning so you can't give up. Try with one person or a group meditation. Guided med'n can help you. Once you get the jist of it you will begin to notice yourself in the improvement of your hearing, taste, sight and the other senses, your intuition will speak to you and other things only you can notice. best wishes!

well my friend. meditation isnt about seating in lotus position for long hours. meditation is just being "aware" and concious. Life can be a meditation. Washing dishes. walking down the street. eating. drawing. writing...etc.

just slow down the mind and experince
