I am writing a new story and I have a few ideas. Do you like any of these:

1. A girl and her boyfriend meet on the Oregon Trail. They fool around a little and she gets pregnant. They runaway so nobody knows, and they don't where they are...

2. A young teenage girl finds a tiny baby out in the woods during the Revolutionary War and privately raises it on her own. (The girl is about 12 or 13.)

3. This girl comes over on a ship sailing to the "New World" (America) in the year 1656. She is fourteen-years-old and she gets married to this guy who is nineteen...and it goes on and on with details and stuff about the hardships of the New World.

Which idea do you like best? Do you have any other ideas? Thanks!

Neither.

I am sorry but you need a plot to make these stories interesting. The main character must meet some resistance or face a problem. Otherwise it is just a boring account of some people nobody can relate to.

The typical plot structure goes like this:
Initial situation - the beginning. It is the first incident that makes the story move.
Conflict or Problem - goal which the main character of the story has to achieve.
Complication - obstacles which the main character has to overcome.
Climax - highest point of interest of the story.
Suspense - point of tension. It arouses the interest of the readers.
Denouement or Resolution - what happens to the character after overcoming all obstacles/failing to achieve the desired result and reaching/not reaching his goal.
Conclusion - the end of the story.

Good luck working on it.

the first one, definitely. getting lost is cool. what's the ending going to be though? maybe they could be looking for something, or find something strange....

bless you but you don't sound like you're that excited about number 3 - "it goes on and on with details and stuff about the hardships of the new world"!

I really like the second idea. You could have the girl find the real parents later. It sounds like it would be a great story.
