I bought some Tyson steak strips and I'm going to make quesadillas with them...I want to pep them up a little and put more in them than just shredded cheese. Is there some kind of seasoning I could put in with the cheese or maybe a VERY simple sauce I could make? I don't have many groceries at the moment so it can't be anything too complicated lol

Fresh cilantro, dried cilantro, taco seasoning, peppers.

If you don't have any of that stuff try some black pepper or chili powder!

Get a pepper jack cheese that comes already grated, or grate it yourself. Season the steak strips with hot sauce, lime, and onion a head of time. Also, you can also add salsa to your quesadilla. Melt cream cheese, or velveeta cheese with your favorite salsa and spread on the quesadilla before you add the steak.

I always use McCormicks fajita seasoning in my quesadillas. It gives them a real nice flavor. Try some chopped onion or some green onions in them too.

You can do mushroom and cheese and chicken...-Or shrimp and pepper and cheese. You can always add onion to any of these and if you don not have peppers you can substitute pimentos. We also dip in guacamole in addition to sour cream and salsa! Use what you have-anything goes..
