I am in a very, very, very messy situation romantically, that is starting to look HOPELESS. Not 100%, but about 95%. I need something close to a miracle.

I don't really practice any specific religion, although I believe deeply in God. What prayer can I say for help?? A prayer of surrender, or a prayer for the outcome I want? Please tell me a specific prayer if you have one...

I feel like I myself messed up my destiny, and my life is ruined. I am heartbroken and crushed, my one and only life-long dream crushed...

Ouch!... sorry to see that you are hurting this much. There is not some magical prayer that anyone can give you. Prayer is about you going one on one with God. Talk with Him as you would anyone else. It may help to put an empty chair in front of you, and imagine Him sitting there, listening to your heart cry. He is as close as the mention of His name.

I've experienced, as have others, God moving powerfully in your life in situations like this. He intervene when I asked, even though I was not a Christian or a believer. Ask, seek, and knock... and He will open the door to you.

Being a Christian now, I also try to find what God has to say in the Word, and ask that His Holy Spirit guide and teach me to know what I should do, what His will is for me in that situation. Hope this is helpful. May God bless.

Just simply pray. Pray from the heart. The prayer doesn't have to be eloquent or lengthy or well-said, it just has to come from the heart. And always remember that God answers prayers on His own time and in His own way, so do not feel unworthy if things don't turn out the way you expect. God answers prayers in the way He sees fit. Hope, love, and pray, hun, and I hope things work out for the best for you.

I have a wonderful book of prayers, I use when I need help. You look in the back and look up a word such as fear, hope, etc., then it tells you where to go in the book. This is what I found for you.

"Your Promise Gives Me Life"
Read Psalms 119:49-53
This is my comfort in my distress, that your promise gives me life.
Psalms 119:50

There is a difference between wishing and hoping: a wish is what we think will give us happiness; a hope is what we believe God will do to fulfill our lives. Wishes are based on human fantasies; hopes are based on God's promises.

The Actual Prayer to say;
Almighty God, I listen to your promises. Teach me to live and hope. I want you to perfect your love and complete your redemption in me. Thank you, O Lord of hope.
Amen.
I hope this helps.
I will try to send you the website URL to this book.
I copied everything above word for word from this book.
The book is called "Praying With The Psalms." By, Eugene H. Peterson.

Sounds like you need wisdom and saving faith in Christ... Pray for what you need. You understand that a prayer is just a conversation with God, right? So talk to Him in your own words. You don't need someone else to tell God how you are feeling. You tell Him.... Jim

Jesus is a mender of broken hearts. A heartfelt prayer of surrender is a good starting point. remember this, His care for you extends into eternity and this temporal relationship may not be high on the priority list at this time. He has proven Himself to be more than a faithful friend to me and will do so for all who call on Him.

Pray the prayer of the tax collector and then click on the Get Saved button @ http://web.express56.com/~bromar/

Luke 18:10 "Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. (11) The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. (12) I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.' (13) But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' (14) I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted."

Then you can claim this promise God has made.

Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. (29) For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. (30) And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. (31) What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

God doesn't pick up the telephone when he hears you say something like "Dear God" and then hangs up when you say "Amen". God is listening always. You are always praying. Listen to what your'e saying.
