Why is everyone saying all these jokes are racist when i am a muslim here and when they said joke about saddam hussain, i thought it was funny, how come no one says that blonde jokes are racist or other jokes, y is everyone in a cranky mood today? everyone needs to take and deep breathe and calm down, its suppose to be a joke and everyone here right now does not have a sense of humor, please dont violate me, it's just a question that seems to be rather confusing....

i understand the difference between race and religion but it is a joke and not meant to hurt someone's feelings, its just to make u smile, and if u think it racist, then dont answer the question, just skip it...when u answer the question u r being more ........i cant think of that word..but all i have to say is that it is just a joke....

If we would take into account all reasons for racism, as others boldly claimed, then every single person on Earth is guilty of it. If you make a joke about a cowboy, then an aspect of a cowboy is either the center or indirect idea of your joke. However, the "cowboy" stereotype is of the subset of the WESTERN CULTURE, hence a people belonging to a race, the Western people.
What I'm trying to say is that "person" (politically correct) jokes were meant to be jokes. But take note that jokes ARE NOT UNIVERSAL truths, but OPINIONATED in some way. Yes, many may get offended, but i think that they should keep it to themselves their own opinions about the jokes being a racist. But if they want to comment about it, go ahead. We all have freewill.
Just a point: Until it is not firmly directed or declared against a certain race, its not racism, its human.

Okay, being blond is not a race, being a Muslim is not a race, and im a Muslim to and i couldn't give a c*** if anyone made fun of Saddam Hussein, are you saying Ur follow him and agree with wot he does to want us to applaud you that you find his jokes funny, well so does everyone else and lastly being black is being part of a race, same with being white, and some Jews consider Judaism a race as well. Yes that was easy.

Jokes about Saddam Hussein are not 'racist'. They don't make fun of his race or religion. Blonde jokes are about stereotypes and concepts that people believe such as that blondes are dumb. (Hence the phrase 'dumb blonde') That's not racist either. Racist jokes are where someone makes a joke that offends someone because they are of that race. For example to make a joke about someone because they are Muslim or black IS racist because it is assuming that because of the colour or beliefs of that person they must be, somehow, inferior.
PS: Because your question seems a genuine attempt to find out something I wouldn't dream of reporting you for a violation.

Racist means = who do they think they are ?
With jokes ? I'm not entertained with dirty ones.

and association.
And the foul language, that's disgusting,,

its individuals .. some have strong beliefs some dont care n some just love to luagh at jokes .. yes, i would appreciates good joke ... doesnt really matter if its racist or about other religions ... one should laugh at a joke otherwise , it wouldnt be call joke... its good to laugh at urself too .... if u cant laugh at urself , that means u cant take a joke .. joke is not suppose to be taken seriously ... ay ..

i just think with everything i've heard and stuff it doesn't seem fair... not just to the offended person:
it just encourages people to make more and more- i don't get offended- im just mad that most of the jokes people think are "funny" are either racist or sexual
it sickens me~

i mean there are jokes that can be racist and it does bother people but some jokes about black people i read, i laugh sometimes but end the end why care, theyre jokes.
