I have learned that in the family section, dating and singles, etc. (ALL those kind) that most questions are the same, only from different people.
Ex: Does he /she love me.....
How can I tell......
Should I divorce him/her........
What can I do to make someone like me better.......
Should I take my ex back.......
YADDA YADDA YADDA. SSDD
Gets OLD fast.
In the Spiritual and Religion section MOST just go there to hurl insults at other participants and start arguments. The same questions over and over there too.
How do you know there is a GOD?.........
Why don't Atheists believe........
Why do Christians...............
SSDD

I have, however, been to some GOOD sections and actually learned about different things and different web sites that have proved very useful and/or interesting.

I try to answer all with honest, accurate info. I do not try to insult anyone and ask the same respect in return.

I find some persons on here just troll around and give goofy answers trying to be funny or pst assinine questions for the same reasons. I have learned to ignore these users.
Overall, I think it CAN be very enlightening and informative, not to mention entertaining at times. I think it SHOULD be monitored closely though. Lot of vulgarity in here in some sections. Things get reported that should not because someone doesn't like what your answer is or is doesn't agree with theirs , while others do not get reported and are downright disrespectful and vulgar.

I spend about 3 hrs. a day here when I have time.

I've learned that some people are trully mean spirited and out to insult others for no good reason. Some really are looking for answers and sometimes get them. These websites can show you the issues of life that you may not always see or hear. people are a little less inhibited.

I spend, Maybe an hour or so a week. I'm a ministry student and it gives me lots of information and real life situations that I may encounter later. I've learned patience and how to be kind even when others aren't.

I have learned that, despite the ugliness and foolishness of a few, some people come here because they want genuine answers to heartfelt questions.

They are truly disturbed by the condition of the world in which they live and they long to understand why a God of love permits such things. Even those who seem to be cursing God are reaching out in pain. Others want to understand the doctrines and practices of other religions.

I spend probably a couple of hours total weekly.

No life changing revelations. I learned that YA is has lots of under educated adolescent airheads and a few intelligent folks with something worth hearing. I learned the correct definition of atheist and that some people who call themselves atheists are really anti-theists. I've learned that a lot of people who argue about evolution don't understand any of the different definitions of the word. I've learned that emotions are usually more important than facts to both believers and non-believers.

I have learn that people should not ask a question if they can't take what others answer. . . The whole point of asking a question here is to see all points of view, that is the great thing about answer, you will get very different opinions from everyone.

Been since August, but I just recently became more involve in it.

I spend alot of time on here---just a phase. Then, playing Bridge too much, then time in the garden, etc.,. This, too, will pass.

I have learned how uneducated so many people are, and how many dumb comments they can make. Maybe it is because I have studied Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, I can see it, but-I cannot believe the hate and snide comment people make about Islam, when they know absolutely nothing about it!

1: To go with this category: Most atheists on here tend to be like the Christians: Trying to convert people, only to "logic" instead of "God." Yay, I've become MORE jaded. I honestly didn't see that happening.
2: That my misanthropy is well founded.
3: Idiocy dies HARD.
4: Pascal's Wager has been reversed.

And I spend a general of about 30 minutes to an hour a day if I'm bored, less with schoolwork.

I have learned that there are lots of ppl with a great sense of humour which is entetaining in itself & the main reason i log on every day.

Also there are a lot of ppl who take themselves way to seriously & their point of view is the only on.

I spend far to much time on here as I'm not working at the moment, it beats watching mindless TV though.
