Both of them will give you lots of energy. But if your looking for the healtier alternative, you want the carbs, n ot the sugar. Besides the sugar energy that you might get will not last as long as the carb energy.

Carbs gives more prolonged enrgy, while sugar gives me a quick fix and then I crash HARD!! Overdoing carbs, just makes me sleepy.
