Yes.
I believe it is the acetone in the remover which is unhealthy. They do make acetone-free which is better for you and works just as good. Also, use it where you have good ventilation like with a fan on, or an open window, or even better...outside.
I still think though that it is unhealthy to breath any kind of nail chemical for an extended period of time.
A very good friend of mine got brain damage from doing nails professionally and inhaling the chemicals for a long time. Remember though it was for hours everyday.

Yes, inhaling nail polish ( as nice as it smells ) is not good for you because you are allowing glue vapors to stick to your lungs. Smelling it as it dries on your nails is not a problem, and once it's dry, you can smell your nails until the sun sets without a problem.

Oh dear Lord...Have you ever in your life heard of someone benefiting from inhaling toxic chemicals?
From the sounds of it, the damage may have already been done to you.
Just in case you were wondering, it's also not a good idea to play in traffic, put your fingers in light sockets, and run with scissors.
Also...no matter how much they beg you, never pull someone's finger when they tell you.

It's definitely bad!!! It'll probably kill you eventually. But you'll probably be ok as long as you're not sticking your nose in it. If you're just taking off nail polish, just don't breathe too deeply and you should be fine.

That depends. If you want to reduce your brain function and perhaps go into a coma, go with the flow!
