Is beauty proof of god? I don't think so. Besides, saying that nature is beautiful is an OPINION, not a fact. Thanks for embarrassing yourself so that I could get 2 points.

Heres the Deal,
My brother went on a church mission to the Czech Republic, where most of the people are atheists from communism(both, not a very good thing) The people were nice, but most of the people did actually believe in a higher power, though most of them would not call it God. (even though that's what a higher power is)
I know what you mean when you say that nature is a beautiful thing, because it didn't just get there on its own. Everything in life is just another testimony, another proof that God actually exsists.
You just don't want to ask the question in such a way to offend atheists, you just have to feel bad that atheists are missing out on the joy and happiness of knowing that there is a God!
By the way, in the next life, when I'm right, I want my 10 points!

Do you even know the definition of natural selection?
What about the eyes?
Natural Selection: The process in nature by which, only the organisms best adapted to their environment tend to survive and transmit their genetic characteristics in increasing numbers to succeeding generations while those less adapted tend to be eliminated.
Plants doesn't have eyes because it doesn't need it(it's not necessary). They can survive without them. Unlike human beings plants doesn't have any "desires" or "passions". It doesn't help the plants to survive.
By the way, you really find everything beautiful? Even flies? Molds? Wastes? Bacterias? Disease? Don't look away/deny what is there. Don't be a pathetic individual who lives in a small world.
PS: I Hope you're not an adult.

trevir287 - Fool. How does something being beautiful prove anything at all.
1. There is no such thing as a god.
2. There is no such thing as angels or divine intervention.
3. Darwin was not a devil worshipping person, I believe he was anglican (I may be wrong with this one).
4. Calling somebody as influential in our world (that actually existed) like Charles Darwin, a pedophile, is very wrong.
For a God worphipping puppet like yourself and every other Christian fool out there, remember this and never ever forget:
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A GOD.

Simply thus:
Bees do have eyes, they are attracted to bright colours. so imagine a bee is going along and sees two flowers next to each other, one is a brighter shade than the other. He chooses the brighter flower and that one gets pollinated, so more flowers spring up later which are brighter and more attractive to insects.
Flowers were made for animals, not each other, their colour is part of their make-up and it could occur through natural selection.
And beautiful is objective, if we lived on a barren world we would almost certainly still find beauty because we look for it. No reason to say that because things are beautiful God exists. That's like saying that because the colour green exists (which I happen to like) then leprechauns exist.
Find a reasonable argument rather than hurl insults. Because insulting us is a hint that your argument is rubbish (which it is) Choose one or the other, and we'll probably beat you whichever you choose but an argument is more stimulating intellectually.

*bangs head repeatedly against desk*
Where do I begin? Nature is beautiful, because we percieve it as beauty. In some cultures, it's beautiful to put a disk in one's lip that stretches it irreversibly, but in the American culture, that's considered "gross". Some people don't consider a desert beautiful, while others think it's the most gorgeous thing ever seen.
Flowers don't know they are beautiful, but the bright colors attract the bees which spread pollen and allows that species to reproduce. If flowers weren't bright, they wouldn't attract bees, and would die; thus flowers evolved to be brightly colored.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder; it has nothing to do with the existence or denial of evolution.
You might try to learn some facts before you go spouting off again...

While I am not an atheist, the very nature of your ranting here doesn't lend itself to actually hearing a valid argument against the existence of God. This is more of you patting yourself on the back for what you have perceived is the perfect answer to atheism. Your lack of education as evidenced by your poorly constructed sentences and spelling errors is just going to convince any atheist I know that your argument is not worthy of more than a cursory glance and a laugh.

That's your proof? Geeze, whew, I was worried for a second. First off, moss is gross looking, I gag everytime I see slime at the bottom of a river, Mushrooms, ugly. Lets see, toads, ugly, every species of bug grosses me out, fish are hiddious, ******* slimy gills with bulgy eyes, yechk. Plus, are things beautiful because we say they are? Plus, Flowers attact bees who spread their pollen, oh and they attract things like birds who spread their pollen. And berries are bright and colorful which get eaten by animals and then the seeds get pooped out elses where to be re-planted. So, no, not everything is beautiful and the stuff that is does lend itself to evolution.
So, just for the record, next time keep your mouth shut and let us assume you are an idiot rather than opening your mouth to prove it.

Ahhh, your rambling statements make my day.
Religious types: meet your peers. Isn't that a fun crowd?
Flowers don't know they are beautiful because they don't have eyes, Darwin is a devil worshiping (sic) pedophile, and final evidence of the existence of god is provided by home depot.
All that AND he has cute fingers.

"Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul." -Principal from Happy Gilmore
